About vehicle
Sixteen cylinders, sixty-four valves cizeta represents the italian pronunciation of the ¦initials of claudio zampolli, a former lamborghini engineer. His partner in this venture is giorgio moroder, the italian composer of the 1984 and 1988 olympic hymns who also has earned several oscars for film scores. The centerpiece of their coupe is an all-new, all-aluminum, fuel-injected six-litre 540hp vl6 engine. The first prototype was unveiled in december 1988 and presented at the los angeles motor show soon after; The second was introduced at the geneva show in 1989. highly sculpted body to accommodate the vl6ts massive engine, transversely mounted ahead of the rear wheels, lamborghini designer marcello gandini styled an unusually wide (81 in.) body over the tubular steel spaceframe chassis, with a sculpted rear deck that includes a wing and air scoops. The interior is leather-lined, and standard amenities are to include air conditioning. Claimed top speed is 204 mph, with acceleration from a standing start to 60 mph in 4.2 seconds.
The cizeta-moroder v16t looks like the futuristic supercar it was designed to be, but will it ever go into production?
