the novas major restyling came in 1968 with a long hood, short rear deck and sail panels. Advertised as the not-too-small car, it had a 111-in. Wheelbase chevys shortest until the camaro was introduced. The 1973 revamping was mild. It consisted of a more crosshatched grille with built-in parking lights, squarish dual rear taillights and bigger bumpers on both ends that had black vinyl impact stripes and a center dip in the rear. The new nova also featured flowthrough ventilation and improved sound deadening.
