About vehicle
Faster and faster they started with a streamlined aluminum body on a stock 142 12-inch wheelbase. They added a blower with dual carburetion, special manifolding and a three-to-one rear end with straight bevel gears. Then it was off to utahs bonneville salt flats, which turned into their personal diy lake lied of record dreams. In 1935, jenkins captured the one-hour speed mark of more than 153-96 mph. The 1935 mormon meteor was the race car of record holders. One of its world records included 1573 mph for the 24 hours of he mans.
